Learning BlockChain and Exponential Technologies

Curious about emerging technologies like blockchain but not sure where to start? Are you a big picture thinker that wants a bird's-eye view, paired with hands on experience? This talk, hosted by Lighthouse Labs with decentralized technology expert Asier Arranz Jimenez from IE Business School, will introduce you to the needed skills to understand the rapid growing of exponential technologies, with a special focus on blockchain based technologies, which currently have the potential to disrupt business. After the talk, Asier will also show live working demos about blockchain, virtual reality and artificial intelligence! This event is open to folks of all levels and backgrounds, there will be something for everyone to learn! Asier Arranz Jimenez is the Director of the Technology Lab at IE Business School and creator of the IE WOWroom. He is an expert in blockchain and decentralized technologies based on Ethereum smart contracts, NEM, Waves and others. Throught his, he has created the IEtoken, the IE Business School token, made to teach the concept of creating and transferring value to the students. Outside of IS, Asier also founded Beluga Trends, an artificial intelligence based tool that analyzes in real-time the cryptocurrency market and users behaviour in social networks to make automatic investment decisions. He is also a winner of Techcrunch Disrupt San Francisco and different tech-hackathons by Google, Intel, Oracle, Nokia, BBVA and others. Selected by Qualcomm as featured international developer and featured in Business Insider as one of the top 25 Spanish Twitter accounts to follow in technology.
