SPE Workshop: The Montney - Pushing the Limit November 06 - 07, 2018 Calgary, AB The 2016 and 2017 SPE Montney Workshops demonstrated a steep learning curve for competitive profitable production from the Montney. Sweet spots were identified, costs were reduced, EUR per well length has increased, and break-even price was lowered. However, every learning curve flattens out. The theme for the 2018 Workshop is - Where is the current limit of all of these advancements, and what can be done to push this limit further? During this two-day workshop, Operators from the Montney will get the chance to share what they think are the levers available to push the limit further. Discussion between presenters and the audience will be greatly encouraged. The Keynote will address the potential market impact of an LNG project in Canada and technical sessions will address new developments in specific areas. A panel discussion will close out the workshop and provide the opportunity to discuss relevant topics amassed over the two days.
